The Foal-Time foaling prediction test is based on the phenomenon that the pH of a mare’s mammary secretions remains fairly stable during the last weeks of pregnancy. However, just before the actual delivery begins, there will be a drop in the pH level of her pre-milk. Testing regularly and diligently with Foal-Time Strips will enable you to “catch” that drop in pH and be there for your mare! Foal-Time Strips produce an INSTANT color change result when placed in contact with as little as a micro-drop of your mare’s pre-milk. No measuring, no mixing, no shaking and no waiting!
